Nelson Martinez

President & CEO

Nelson attended the School of Visual Arts in New York, where he received a BFA in Advertising. Nelson was recruited by Young and Rubicam, where he quickly became the youngest Senior VP in the agency’s history, and went on to win a series of large new business pitches- Blockbuster Video, the NFL United Way, Sony Electronics, Miller Brewing Company, Ericson/Sony, and Molson Brewing. After 12 years at Young and Rubicam, Nelson spent a year running the Domino’s and Verizon accounts at Deutsch NY.

In 2001 Nelson co-founded Union Advertising in NY. Union was one of the first agencies in the world to create hybrid, entertainment driven marketing, such as the Viacom/Sony “Plato Show” for Sony Electronics. Union has grown into a media centric agency, where the focus is creating powerful consumer and B to B marketing for such brands as National Geographic, Sports Illustrated, Time Magazine, Comedy Central, NFL Network, NBC, Madison Square Garden, Spike TV, We Network, Golf Magazine, Fox Sports, Food Network, ABC, NBC and many more.

Recognition for his work includes: Cannes International Film Festival, London International Advertising Awards, the Clios, Mark Awards, the AICP (Museum of Modern Art, NY), the Addy’s, the Effies, Adweek, AdAge, Communications Arts, and Shoot’s East Coast Creative Director of the Year.


Ralph “R.C.” Olsen

Chief Development Officer

With over 23 years in Sales, Marketing and Broadcast Operations Management, R.C. Olsen’s diverse experience provides him with the unique ability to identify opportunities and deliver strategic solutions. R.C began his career with CNBC just after its launch in 1990. He diligently worked his way up through positions in commercial integration, master control and satellite operations. Additionally, Mr. Olsen earned his Green Belt in Six Sigma while developing operational efficiencies for NBC’s cable operations. Promoted to Manager, Broadcast Operations for the Northeast Hub at NBC in 2001, Mr. Olsen effectively managed nine O&O Stations with over $1B in annual commercial revenue.

In 2006 Mr. Olsen relocated to Charlotte NC to pursue his interest in businesses development, focusing on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficient practices. By incorporating his diverse business experience and entrepreneurial know how, R.C. successfully developed and grew an energy efficient lighting business that incorporated Federal Tax incentives and Local Utility rebates which provide his clients with a superior product coupled with very attractive ROI’s. It is this unique blend of Media, Technology and Professional Salesmanship that brings him to Ingenuity Sun Media.

Mr. Olsen is active in the USGBC Charlotte Regional Chapter and serves a Chairman of the Advocacy Sub-Committee focused on educating corporations and LEED, Energy Efficiency and Sustainability. Additionally he is a member of BOMA – Carolinas and works with building owners and property managers to help them achieve their energy conservation and sustainable goals.


 

Kurt Borowsky

Chief Operations Officer

Mr. Borowsky’s expertise spans all aspects of operational and product design and development that includes budgeting, contract negotiations, process and production enhancements and deliverables reporting and implementation. Kurt demonstrated these talents as head of operations for the Hills Development Company at The Hills development; a 5,000 unit master planned mixed use community in Bedminster, New Jersey and most recently as the head of Development Services for the Garibaldi Group in Chatham, New Jersey; a commercial real estate brokerage and consulting company. In addition to these skills Mr. Borowsky has an extensive background in developing and successfully executing various entrepreneurial and investment opportunities as the Founder and President of KRB Real Estate Services. LLC, a business consulting and management company in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. Kurt possesses a B. S. in Finance from Florida State University.


 

Marc Del Vecchio

Chief Technology Officer

Marc brings over 15 years of experience in the Information Technology field to Ingenuity Sun Media. Having worked for large investment banks, insurance carriers, medical equipment providers and consulting firms; he brings a well-rounded business view to the management team.

He has developed and managed several major technology initiatives in his IT career. These projects have spanned office and datacenter connectivity buildouts, virtualization/cloud services, disaster recovery planning, standard operating procedures and software roll-outs.

He loves to innovate and find creative technical solutions to problems. His least favorite phrase is "that's the way we have always done it". Marc believes that looking at new approaches to problems or processes is not only healthy, but necessary. He feels a smart, pragmatic approach to new initiatives is always best.

Marc graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology, located in Hoboken NJ, with a B.E. in Computer Engineering and a graduate certificate in Secure Network Design.
